TICKET TO BRASIL is a Bossa Nova, Afro-Brazilian Samba and Latin Jazz Fusion project created around a collective
love for the celebration of rhythm and for the spirit of experimentation. The group was founded in 1998 by classical and
contemporary jazz guitarist and composer Pavel Jany, and it is based in Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Minnesota. This unique
international ensemble has released four albums, and has performed at a number of local and national / international events,
including The Winnipeg Jazz Festival, MN Orchestra SommerFest, Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Sioux Falls Jazz Festival,
Grand Marais Jazz Festival, Ordway World Stage Festival, Bloomington Latin Music Festival, MN Winter Jazz Festival,
MN State Fair, MN Global Jazz Festival, and many more.
